Notice of Election

REQUEST FOR NOMINATIONS:  In accordance with Article 4 of the Toronto Mensa Local Group By-Laws, the election for the positions of Local Secretary, Deputy Local Secretary and Treasurer will be held by the Toronto Mensa Annual General Meeting on Saturday, May 06, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at the TRANZAC, 292 Brunswick Ave., Toronto.

Candidates for any of these positions must be nominated by two (2) other Toronto Mensa members and must indicate their willingness to serve if elected.  Candidates, nominators and seconders must be members of Toronto Mensa in good standing (2023 dues paid or exempted). 

Candidate nominations and acceptances may be made via email to the Elections Officer, Laura King, ( or verbally at the AGM and may be made at any time up to the close of nominations at the Election Meeting itself.   Nomination forms can be obtained from the Elections Officer.


Toronto Mensa Elections are held yearly.    

There are three elected board positions – Local Secretary, Deputy Local Secretary, Treasurer.
